Do It Yourself Cartoon Kit –
This film was interesting, because it didn’t made much sense but at the same time it makes a lot of sense. I like that it speaks how people see animation, also how exaggerated is presented remembers me of the old betty boop animation.
The background sound and the visual makes it feel from the old days like 19 hundreds.
How the narrator is trying to sell the idea, that you can become an animator with a kit, that does most of the job. Us animator knowing the true, that it takes more than just a kit.
The Film is a cut out animation, an interesting form of stop motion animation. It’s quite ironic that this Film is showing an advertisement, selling a shortcut kit to become an animator using the most time consuming form of animation.
