Morning Section
In the morning, we had independent study. I worked from 10:30 until 12:30 on multiple stuff, I had some ideas about the collaboration project, made some annotations. Went to Maria to talk about our essay and I was working on my website, just adding some stuff to my website.
Afternoon Section

This afternoon we had to bring our 3 Images to class, where I could decided which images to bring. So, we are doing the morphing animation, so Tess started to show us some additional stuff on Photoshop. Next week is going to be the last day of Photoshop, then Tess is going to show us how, to add colour to it and how we separate layers from each other. Also it was very important to name your layers, so that it had some organisation and you wouldn’t be lost or draw on the wrong layer. After Tess explained how stuff works, and what to do, she let us do our own stuff, but Tess would normally go to each one and see if everything was alright and see if the students understood the steps and what to do. Having Tess going around and help us, gave me relief, because if we messed up, Tess around to help us.
Idea 1:
As I was colouring the smoothie, I didn’t quite know what my morph was. I came with an idea that the animation could start with a cat, that turn into a bone that transformed into a dog that decomposes to some kinda liquid that then would reform into the cat again.
After thinking for awhile, I decided it not to do idea number one, it was a bit grim for my style, I love dogs and some cats so I don’t want to offend or make anyone mad at me. But also I believe stuff would be complicated to animate.

Idea 2:
Having my other three images, I decided to try with them. I actually used this images before but I bit more complicated, I just simplify them, so it would be easier to animate. Having the smoothie, splash out, a space ship, where the space ship is then transformed into a space cadet. Of course this is not the final idea, I will work on it more. Next week is going to be the last Photoshop tutorial, until toon boom.
